Jason Normann, Partner
After a 10-year tenure as the General Manager of Webster Wine Bar, Jason teamed with partners Tom MacDonald and Janan Asfour to open Telegraph in July 2011. He developed a love for food as a child thanks to his Ecuadorian mother, a wonderful cook, and his father, who traveled extensively for work and sent home regional specialities from all over the country.
Normann has worked in the restaurant industry since the tender age of 15, when he was a line cook at Country Kitchen in Wisconsin. He moved to Chicago after attending college in Madison, where he developed a deep appreciation for wine, particularly Spanish wines. He’s traveled extensively across Latin America and Europe and also enjoys camping, snowboarding, photography and, of course, eating and drinking wine.
